I'm Balazs Pal, co-founder of VPNCasinos and the person behind most of the testing, grading and editorial work on the site. I have spent more than eight years in iGaming across the operator side, the affiliate side and my own crypto gambling projects, with a specific focus on the gap between what casinos promise and what happens when a real player tries to withdraw.
VPNCasinos exists because privacy claims in this industry are messy. A site can call itself VPN friendly and still block access, freeze accounts, demand surprise ID, or hide behind vague AML wording once a player wins. My job here is to separate casinos that actually work for VPN users from casinos that only tolerate privacy until it becomes inconvenient.
Every review runs through our documented Anonymity Grade. We look at three things first: whether VPN access works in practice, when KYC is triggered, and whether the AML policy is clear enough for a normal player to understand before depositing. A casino that allows VPN logins but uses vague "operator discretion" clauses at withdrawal time will not score well here. Access matters, but getting paid matters more.
My background helps with that. On the operator side, I worked inside a national sportsbook with more than a million active users, so I understand how risk teams, verification flows, bonus rules and retention systems are built. On the affiliate side, I led SEO, content, design and compliance work across multi-market gambling portfolios before building my own network of lean iGaming sites.

The rule across all of these projects is simple: test the thing, read the terms, say the uncomfortable part clearly. If a casino blocks VPNs, uses ambush KYC, hides withdrawal limits, or buries risk behind legal boilerplate, I would rather call it out than make the page look cleaner for an affiliate partner.
